Job Description:

Travel to hard to reach districts to monitor UNICEF CP funded activities including:

  • Facilitation of establishing Child Protection Committees in all 4 provinces by WC UK
  • Monitoring of functioning of Child-Friendly Spaces established by WC UK in Herat and Badghis
  • Monitor Community Dialogue activities in provinces by WC UK
  • Monitor Reception and Reunification Process of unaccompanied and separated children deported from Iran
  • Livelihood activities implemented by HELP INGO in all four provinces
  • Monitors GBV projects implemented by WASSA and VOW in Herat
  • Technical support and monitoring of CPANs in districts
  • Monitor Birth Registration activities implemented at the health facility level in WR
  • Monitoring of social mobilization activities on prevention of harmful social norms implemented by WC UK
  • Monitoring of Child Protection Units in Police Recruitment Centers and other MRM activities
  • Assist in CPiE response mainly in carrying out Child Protection Rapid Assessment
  • Facilitate developing Human Success Stories
  • Prepare monthly progress reports

Job Requirements:

At least Bachelor’s Degree in law or other social sciences
At least 4 years of progressive experience in the child protection field with National or International NGOs.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well in English, Dari, and Pashto
Has strong interpersonal communication skills at the community level
Computer Skills: Familiarity in Excel, Word and Power Point Applications,
