About Afghan Post SOC:
Postal services in Afghanistan have a history of more than a century. These services were first laid in 1870 for the first time during the reign of Amir Shir Ali Khan, which witnessed significant ups and downs due to changes in the political, social and cultural spheres. In 1928, Afghanistan became a member of the World Postal Union and in 1968, a member of the Asia-Pacific Postal Union, in order to expand its postal relations and strengthen ties with the rest of the world.
Recently, the post office of Afghan Post, according to the decree No. 2828 dated 10/22/1398, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Afghanistan as a state-owned company; To offer and develop traditional and modern postal services that meet the needs of customers and compete in the market nationally and internationally; The change of legal personality has manifested itself.
The goals of the Afghan Post SOC include:

The incumbent of this position will work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Directors and Business Development Unit and report on his/her activities to them. He/she will perform the following duties but not limited to:
E-Commerce Specialist will work on developing, monitoring, writing and updating product content contained on E-Commerce websites/portals;
Develop and implement ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance;
Work with developers to improve website speed;
Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition;
Re-Plat forming website to new CMS, making website mobile capable;
Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance;
Analyse various data in order to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve kips;
Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media;
Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in online store;
Creating frameworks that transform social media sites into highly profitable platforms;
Directing the activities of Software Developers, Copywriters, and Graphic Designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies;
Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures;
Creating promotional offers and checking to see that these are uploaded precisely;
Reviewing copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy;
Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies;
Examining sales-related metrics to inform restocks;
Reporting on the utility of existing and novel strategies;
Assist with forming company’s overall digital marketing strategy;
Developing subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and taking ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts;
Cultivating standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings;
Working with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across E-Commerce platforms;
Possessing a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders;
Having the ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail;
Possessing a strong knowledge of the E-Commerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends;
Using Spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, V lookups etc.) in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement;
Manage online inventory;
Develop campaigns to increase digital sales;
Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools;
Help manage online marketing presence, including on social media platforms;
Monitor changes in website traffic or increases in sales;
Any task assigned by the leadership.
University Degree (Bachelors or Master) in Political Science, Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Management, or any other field.
4 to 6 years of experience
