About Action against Hunger :
Action Against Hunger (AAH) is a Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) that was create in France in 1979. Action Against Hunger has been active in Afghanistan in the medical, nutrition, food security, and water and sanitation fields since 1995.
Objective 1: Implement cash intervention and lifesaving activities
Participate in beneficiaries’ selection process.
Provide the distribution document at field level
Conduct sensitization and mobilization trainings to the communities before each distribution
Conduct various technical field information about the cash or voucher distribution for the beneficiaries and provide them technical advises on a regular basis.
Ensure accountability towards beneficiaries, especially through the distribution of hotline cards and explanation of the complaints and feedback mechanism
Explain the project’s activities and objectives to local partners and communities
Objective 2: Reporting and archiving
Before leaving the office ensure that all the material are ready and functional (relevant equipment’s, registers, supplies, equipment…).
Ensure equipment in the field is secure and clean at all times and ensure that after the field visit, equipment is cleaned and prepared for use during the following day.
Update all reporting tools on daily basis.
Keep and maintain a good filing system for all documents
Prepared the reports (Daily, Weekly and monthly) according to the standard reporting tools.
Assist line supervisor on performing other duties assigned by the organization.
Report any problems and constraints during the implementation of activities
Keep all the records of the activities, input delivery /supply and assured the quality and quantity of inputs according to the ToRs
Participate in the hotline cards distribution and explain the complaint and feedback mechanism to beneficiaries
Qualification/level of study:
Degree in the fields of agriculture, veterinary/animal science, extensive information in cash distribution, extensive experience in humanitarian activities especially in input distribution and mobilization background or proven equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of working experience as officer position (or any similar position) in local or international organization.
Experience in distribution of inputs and implementation of cash base intervention and projects. Experience in the above-mentioned district is an asset.
Experience in the humanitarian field is an asset
Good knowledge of cash distribution techniques and good practices
Knowledge of local context is mandatory
Enhanced mobilization and communication skills
Fluent in Dari (written, spoken, read).
Basics in English (written, spoken, read).
