INSO Southeast region is currently looking for a provincial Field Monitor for Paktia Province. The candidates are required to be resident in the province and possess an understanding of the current situation relevant to NGO and humanitarian safety

Job Description:

 

The successful candidate will connect and meet with various contacts throughout the province to collect and disseminate information pertaining to humanitarian safety and NGO security. He/She will have a good knowledge of the local context based on prior experience and local connections. He/She will also be able to understand the nature of NGOs activities in the province.

Job Requirements:

 

Previous experience with the UN or an NGO is an advantage.
Previous experience in the security sector is an advantage but not compulsory.
High school certificate (desirable: university qualification)
Pashto speaker (Desirable: English, Dari)
