Job Summary:

The Integrated Services Officer will work with relevant Government structures for efficient delivery of polio vaccines through an integrated services approach in high-priority areas, and coordinate all integrated services interventions with partners laid down in NEAP. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help shape and draft integrated services sections of NEAP focusing on the roles of relevant Government structures, facilitate endorsement of the plan, and ensure its effective implementation

  • Participate in and support effective functioning of SIA Integrated Services Working Group with a focus on coordination and communication across partners.

  • As part of Integrated Services Working Group, identify opportunities to expand delivery of polio vaccines through integrated services activities in high-prioirty areas, leveraging capacities and roles of relevant Government departments for maximum impact


  • Closely work with relevant Government structures to ensure their participation in implementation of integrated services interventions

  • Identify and align opportunities to position integrated services to expand scope of of humanitarian response activities.

  • Support ongoing review of integrated services and humanitarian response activities related to polio program and work with NEOC to course correct as needed.

  • Monitor integrated services activities in high-priority districts, work with Provincial Governors and other key entities, and local teams to develop and implement solutions, and report back to NEOC

  • Collaborate with partners to forecast resources for ISD and disseminate findings to inform further decisions and programmatic actions.

  • Undertake tasks as assigned by NEOC Director and Core Group

Job Requirement:

·       BA degree in Management or Health, Master or Doctoral degree will be preferred. 

·       At least 4 years related experience.

·       Ability to design and implement innovative steps for operational efficiency.

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills and Afghan languages as well as English language.

·       Proper judgement skill in resolving issues.

·       Being professional, disciplined and transparent.

·       Able to cope with stress and meet deadlines.

·       Flexible in working hours and working on off-days.

·       Positive, proactive, and motivation attitude
